ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਇਬ ਸੈਣੀ ਦੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਭਾਜਪਾ) ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਗੂ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਰਹੇ।
ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਨੇਤਾ ਚਰਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਰਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਰਿਪਜੀਤ ਬਰਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਮੀਤ ਬਰਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਓਐਸਡੀ ਓਂਕਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹੇ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਇਬ ਸੈਣੀ ਨੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਾਸਕਾਰੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਗੂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਵੇਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਸਿਆਸੀ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਣਨੀਤਿਕ ਪੈਲ ਹੈ।

Major Political Development in Punjab: Several Senior Leaders Join BJP
A significant political development took place in Punjab today as several prominent leaders announced their decision to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at a special event held in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. The occasion was also attended by Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar, senior leader Ashwini Sharma, and other party leaders.
During the event, senior leader Charanjit Singh Brar, who recently resigned from the Shiromani Akali Dal, formally joined the BJP along with his associates Ripjeet Brar and Jagmeet Brar. Former OSD to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Onkar Singh, was also present at the BJP function, adding further significance to the event.
Welcoming the new entrants, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that leaders are joining the BJP inspired by the party’s development-oriented policies and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the BJP is committed to development, peace, and stability in Punjab.
Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar stated that the induction of new leaders would strengthen the party at the grassroots level. Political analysts believe that this move is a major strategic step towards consolidating the BJP’s position in Punjab ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
