ਸ. ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਰਕ, ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗੁੰਮਸ਼ੁਦਾ 10 ਸਾਲਾ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਚੌਂਕੀ ਕਿਸ਼ਨਗੜ੍ਹ, ਥਾਣਾ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਕੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਬੱਚਾ 06 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦੱਸੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਥਾਣਾ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਨੰਬਰ 186 ਮਿਤੀ 09.09.2026, ਧਾਰਾ 127 BNS ਤਹਿਤ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਸੂਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਉਸਦੇ ਨਾਨਾ ਬਲਵੀਰ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਸ. ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਰਕ, ਐਸਐਸਪੀ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਭਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Jalandhar Rural Police Traces Missing 10-Year-Old Child Within 24 Hours, Reunites Him Safely with Family
S. Harvinder Singh Virk, SSP Jalandhar Rural, directed immediate and sensitive action in the case of a missing 10-year-old child. Following his directions, Police Post Kishangarh, Police Station Kartarpur, traced the child within 24 hours of registration of the case and safely reunited him with his family.
The child had left his home on September 06, 2026, without informing his family. On receiving the information, FIR No. 186 dated 09.09.2026 under Section 127 BNS was registered at Police Station Kartarpur.
The police team made continuous efforts using technical assistance and intelligence inputs and successfully traced the child within 24 hours. The child was safely handed over to his maternal grandfather, Balvir Ram.
S. Harvinder Singh Virk, SSP Jalandhar Rural, appreciated the prompt and coordinated efforts of the police team and reiterated that cases involving children are dealt with utmost sensitivity and on priority to ensure their safety and well-being.
