ਮਾਲੇਰਕੋਟਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ 66 ਨਾਮਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਬਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁੰਡੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਾਮਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਪੂਰਕ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਨਾਮਧਾਰੀ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੁੰਡੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ।

State-Level Event Dedicated to the Martyrdom of 66 Namdhari Singhs Held in Malerkotla
A state-level commemorative event was organised in Malerkotla to honour the martyrdom of 66 Namdhari Singhs who laid down their lives while resisting British colonial rule. Punjab Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian paid floral tributes to the martyrs and highlighted their historic sacrifice, describing it as a significant chapter in India’s freedom struggle. He said the Namdhari movement, led by Satguru Ram Singh Ji, stood for courage, self-respect, and resistance against injustice. The minister urged the younger generation to draw inspiration from the martyrs’ ideals and commitment to the nation. A large gathering attended the event to pay homage.
