दिनांक 22 जनवरी 2026 को जम्मू-कश्मीर के डोडा जिले में स्थित भदरवाह–चंबा अंतरराज्यीय मार्ग पर खड़ी टॉप के पास भारतीय सेना का एक वाहन संतुलन बिगड़ने के कारण गहरी खाई में गिर गया। इस दुखद और दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण हादसे में भारतीय सेना के कई जवान शहीद हो गए।
हादसे की सूचना मिलते ही राहत एवं बचाव कार्य शुरू किया गया। प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार, दुर्गम पहाड़ी मार्ग और मौसम की परिस्थितियां हादसे का कारण मानी जा रही हैं। सेना और प्रशासन द्वारा मामले की जांच की जा रही है।
77वें गणतंत्र दिवस के अवसर पर टिब्बा रोड, मेन चौराहा, लुधियाना (पंजाब) में स्थानीय मुस्लिम भाइयों द्वारा शहीद जवानों को मोमबत्तियां जलाकर भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई। इस दौरान लोगों ने वीर जवानों के बलिदान को नमन करते हुए देश की एकता और भाईचारे का संदेश दिया।

Indian Army Vehicle Falls into Gorge in Jammu & Kashmir; Martyrs Honoured in Ludhiana
On January 22, 2026, an Indian Army vehicle fell into a deep gorge near Khadi Top on the Bhaderwah–Chamba interstate route in Doda district of Jammu & Kashmir after losing balance. The tragic accident resulted in the martyrdom of several Indian Army personnel.
Rescue operations were launched immediately after the incident. Preliminary reports suggest difficult terrain and weather conditions as possible reasons for the accident. Authorities are conducting further investigations.
On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, a candlelight tribute was organized at Tibba Road, Main Chowk, Ludhiana (Punjab), where members of the local Muslim community paid heartfelt homage to the martyred soldiers, reflecting unity and national solidarity.
