चंडीगढ़ रेलवे स्टेशन पर उस समय अफरा-तफरी मच गई जब दो नशे में धुत युवकों ने कार को स्टेशन के प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर–1 पर घुसा दिया। कार अनियंत्रित होकर प्लेटफॉर्म और रेलवे ट्रैक के बीच फंस गई, जिससे यात्रियों और रेलवे स्टाफ में हड़कंप मच गया।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, चालक नशे की हालत में थे और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को तोड़ते हुए कार स्टेशन परिसर तक ले आए। गनीमत रही कि जिस हिस्से में कार फंसी, वहां निर्माण कार्य चल रहा था और वह क्षेत्र अस्थायी रूप से बंद था।
रेलवे अधिकारियों के अनुसार, उसी समय कोई ट्रेन प्लेटफॉर्म पर नहीं आ रही थी, जिससे एक बड़ा हादसा टल गया। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस और रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (RPF) मौके पर पहुंचे और दोनों युवकों को हिरासत में लेकर आगे की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है।

Major Accident Averted at Chandigarh Railway Station as Car Gets Stuck Between Platform and Track
Panic broke out at Chandigarh Railway Station after two intoxicated youths drove a car onto Platform Number 1, where it got stuck between the platform and the railway track.
According to eyewitnesses, the drivers were under the influence of alcohol and managed to enter the station premises, causing chaos among passengers and railway staff. Fortunately, the affected section was temporarily closed due to construction work.
Railway officials confirmed that no train was approaching the platform at that time, which helped avert a major accident. Police and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) reached the spot promptly, detained the two youths, and initiated further investigation.
