साहनेवाल में बाढ़ प्रभावित परिवारों को पंजाब सरकार की बड़ी राहत

पिछले वर्ष आई भीषण बाढ़ से प्रभावित परिवारों को राहत प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से पंजाब के कैबिनेट मंत्री हरदीप सिंह मुंडियां ने शनिवार को साहनेवाल विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 72 लाभार्थी परिवारों को ₹86.40 लाख के चेक वितरित किए। यह आर्थिक सहायता स्थायी और मजबूत मकानों के निर्माण के लिए दी गई है।

साहनेवाल में आयोजित चेक वितरण समारोह में आम आदमी पार्टी के स्थानीय नेता, बाढ़ प्रभावित लाभार्थी, जनप्रतिनिधि और क्षेत्रवासी मौजूद रहे। यह पहल पंजाब सरकार की गरीब परिवारों को स्थायी आवास उपलब्ध कराने की प्रतिबद्धता का हिस्सा है।

समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए कैबिनेट मंत्री हरदीप सिंह मुंडियां ने कहा कि प्रत्येक गरीब परिवार को पक्का मकान देना आम आदमी पार्टी का केवल वादा नहीं, बल्कि एक मजबूत संकल्प है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के नेतृत्व में पंजाब सरकार यह सुनिश्चित कर रही है कि कोई भी गरीब परिवार सुरक्षित छत से वंचित न रहे।

मंत्री ने बताया कि योजना के तहत प्रत्येक लाभार्थी को ₹1.20 लाख की वित्तीय सहायता स्वीकृत की गई है। यह राशि तीन किश्तों में दी जा रही है — मकान स्वीकृति के समय ₹30,000, लिंटल स्तर पर ₹72,000 और निर्माण पूर्ण होने पर ₹18,000। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार पारदर्शिता के साथ समय पर किश्तें जारी कर रही है ताकि लाभार्थियों को किसी प्रकार की आर्थिक परेशानी न हो।

कैबिनेट मंत्री मुंडियां ने उन सभी पात्र परिवारों से भी अपील की जो अभी तक इस योजना के तहत आवेदन नहीं कर पाए हैं, वे शीघ्र आगे आकर योजना का लाभ उठाएं।

इसके अलावा, उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री स्वास्थ्य योजना के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए लोगों से अपील की कि वे स्वयं और अपने परिवार के सदस्यों का पंजीकरण करवाएं। इस योजना के तहत परिवारों को सूचीबद्ध अस्पतालों में ₹10 लाख तक का मुफ्त इलाज उपलब्ध कराया जाता है।

इस अवसर पर कई लाभार्थियों ने पंजाब सरकार और मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि समय पर मिली सहायता ने उन्हें अपने जीवन को दोबारा संवारने की उम्मीद और हौसला दिया है।

Punjab Government Provides Major Relief to Flood-Affected Families in Sahnewal

Ludhiana, February 8:
In a major relief initiative for families affected by last year’s floods, Punjab Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Saturday distributed cheques worth ₹86.40 lakh to 72 beneficiary families in the Sahnewal constituency. The financial assistance aims to help flood-affected families rebuild strong and permanent houses.

The cheque distribution ceremony was organized in Sahnewal in the presence of local Aam Aadmi Party leaders, flood-affected beneficiaries, public representatives, and area residents. The initiative forms part of the Punjab Government’s commitment to ensure permanent housing for economically weaker sections.

Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian said that providing a permanent house to every poor family is not merely a promise but a firm commitment of the Aam Aadmi Party government. He emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is working tirelessly to ensure that no poor family is left without a safe and secure roof.

The minister informed that financial assistance of ₹1.20 lakh per beneficiary has been approved under the scheme. The amount is being released in three installments — ₹30,000 at the time of house approval, ₹72,000 at the lintel level, and ₹18,000 upon completion of construction. He added that the government is ensuring complete transparency and timely release of installments so that beneficiaries do not face financial hardship or delays.

Cabinet Minister Mundian also appealed to all eligible families who have not yet applied under the scheme to come forward and avail the benefits at the earliest.

Highlighting another key welfare initiative, the minister urged residents to register themselves and their family members under the Chief Minister Health Scheme. Under this scheme, families can receive free and quality medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh at empanelled hospitals during medical emergencies.

Several beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Punjab Government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for providing timely assistance and helping them rebuild their lives after the devastation caused by floods.
