एम.एल.ए. के पेट्रोल पंप पर हुई फायरिंग के मामले में शामिल आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।

माननीय डीजीपी, पंजाब के दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुसार गैंगस्टरों के खिलाफ चल रही मुहिम के तहत, एसएसपी संगरूर के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीमों द्वारा लगातार कार्रवाई की जा रही है। इसी अभियान के दौरान पुलिस को महत्वपूर्ण सफलता मिली है।
दिनांक 13.03.2026 को इंस्पेक्टर के नेतृत्व में पुलिस पार्टी गश्त पर थी। इस दौरान गुप्त सूचना मिली कि कुछ व्यक्ति गैरकानूनी गतिविधियों में शामिल हैं और हथियारों के साथ मौजूद हैं। पुलिस ने तुरंत कार्रवाई करते हुए आरोपियों को घेरकर गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
पूछताछ के दौरान सामने आया कि आरोपियों ने एम.एल.ए. के पेट्रोल पंप पर फायरिंग की घटना को अंजाम दिया था। इस मामले में पहले से ही मुकदमा दर्ज था।
पुलिस ने आरोपियों से अवैध हथियार और अन्य सामान बरामद किया है। आरोपियों के खिलाफ NDPS Act और Arms Act के तहत कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

Taking strict action against gangsters, the police have achieved another major success
The accused involved in the firing incident at an MLA’s petrol pump have been arrested.
Case No. 123 dated 13.03.2026, under Sections 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act, Police Station Sadar Sangrur.
As per the directions of the Honorable DGP, Punjab, continuous action is being taken against gangsters under an ongoing campaign led by the SSP Sangrur. During this drive, the police have achieved a significant breakthrough.
On 13.03.2026, a police party led by an Inspector was on patrol when they received secret information that some individuals were involved in illegal activities and were present with weapons. Acting swiftly, the police surrounded and arrested the accused.
During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused had carried out the firing incident at the MLA’s petrol pump. A case had already been registered in this matter.
The police have recovered illegal weapons and other items from the accused. Action is being taken against them under the NDPS Act and the Arms Act.
This operation will help maintain peace and law and order in the area. The police have stated that strict action against criminals will continue in the future as well.
