बटाला में SIR को लेकर कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता अमनदीप जैंतीपुर की अगुवाई में एक जागरूकता शिविर लगाया गया। इस मौके पर कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता टीना चौधरी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए। उन्होंने कांग्रेस के एम.सी. और कार्यकर्ताओं को SIR संबंधी जानकारी दी और इसके महत्व के बारे में विस्तार से अवगत कराया। इस दौरान बटाला कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष संजीव शर्मा भी मौजूद रहे। शिविर में कार्यकर्ताओं ने भी SIR से जुड़े मुद्दों पर विचार-विमर्श किया।
