ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ/ਪਟਿਆਲਾ — ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੱਨ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਤਤਕਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਲਈ ਲਗਭਗ ₹68.98 ਕਰੋੜ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਕਮ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਇਗਨੋਸਟਿਕ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਪਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਡਾਇਗਨੋਸਟਿਕ ਉਪਕਰਣ, ਐਡਵਾਂਸਡ ਇਲਾਜ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਯੰਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਪਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਤਸ਼ਖੀਸ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਲਾਜ ਦੀ ਗਤੀ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਪੋਜ਼ੀਟਿਵ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪਏਗਾ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾੜੀਆਂ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਭਾਵ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਇਲਾਜ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ‘ਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਲਕਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਮਿਲਣ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਰਕਮ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਕੇਅਰ, ਸਰਜਰੀ ਬਲਾਕ, ਇੰਟੈਂਸਿਵ ਕেয়ਰ ਯੂਨਿਟ (ICU) ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਸ਼ੀਲ ਵਰਗੀ ਡਾਇਗਨੋਸਟਿਕ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਡੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਫੰਡ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਤੇ ਤਜਰਬਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਿਕਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਹੋਰ ਪੱਕੇ ਬਣ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੁਵਿਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਦੂਜੇ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਵੀ ਘਟੇਗੀ।
ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਰਕਮ ਚੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂਪੂਰਕ ਵੰਡ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ‘ਚ ਉਚਿਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੀ ਆਮ ਜਨਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਰਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਹਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ, ਤੇਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਕਨੀਕੀ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਅੱਪਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
Chandigarh/Patiala — Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has ordered the immediate release of ₹68.98 crore to strengthen healthcare infrastructure across the state by upgrading treatment and diagnostic facilities in government medical colleges. This investment aims to enhance the overall quality of healthcare services and ensure that citizens receive advanced and efficient medical care.
The funds will be allocated to purchase modern diagnostic equipment, advanced treatment machinery, and other essential medical tools that will help hospitals deliver precise diagnoses and faster treatment. Previously, several medical colleges faced limitations due to outdated or insufficient equipment, which adversely affected the standard of care. The new funding is expected to fill these gaps and significantly improve patient outcomes.
According to official statements, the upgraded facilities will benefit emergency care units, surgical blocks, intensive care units (ICU), and other specialized departments that require advanced technology to manage complex medical cases. By strengthening these units, Punjab aims to reduce patient wait times and improve survival rates for critical illnesses and emergency situations.
