ਜਲੰਧਰ, 18 ਅਗਸਤ: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਹਿੰਦਰ ਭਗਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਾਣੀ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ, ਸਰਬ ਸਾਂਝੀਵਾਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਬੱਤ ਦੇ ਭਲੇ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਤੇ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਮੋਹਿੰਦਰ ਭਗਤ ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ. ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੇ 650ਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ ਤਹਿਤ ‘ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸਮਾਨਤਾ’ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਵਿਤਕਰੇ, ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਮਾਨਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ, ਨਿਆਂ, ਦਿਆ ਤੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਨਮਾਨ ’ਤੇ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗਿਕ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ 650ਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਸਾਲ ਭਰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ, ਫਲਸਫੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਕੂਮੈਂਟਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਮੋਹਿੰਦਰ ਭਗਤ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੌਗਜ਼ਾ ਫਰੀਦਪੁਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਬੱਲਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ 10.4 ਏਕੜ ਰਕਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ 37 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਤ ਮਹਾਪੁਰਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ, ਕਿਰਤ, ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ’ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ. ਮਨੋਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਐਸ.ਕੇ. ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਮਲਹੋਤਰਾ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ ਗਾਇਕ ਦਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਦਿਆਲਪੁਰੀ, ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

Great Teachings of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Show Humanity the True Path: Mohinder Bhagat
Jalandhar, August 18: Punjab Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat said that the sacred bani of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji conveys the message of human equality, social justice, universal brotherhood and the welfare of all. He called upon the younger generation to adopt Guru Ji’s teachings in their lives and contribute towards building an ideal and harmonious society.
Mohinder Bhagat was addressing a seminar on “The Bani of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji and Social Equality” organised at DAV University, Jalandhar, as part of the programmes being held by the Punjab Government to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji.
He said that Guru Ravidas Ji envisioned a society free from discrimination, exploitation and inequality, based on equality, justice, compassion and mutual respect. His teachings, he added, continue to inspire generations and remain highly relevant in today’s society.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab Government is organising various programmes throughout the year to mark the 650th Prakash Purab of Guru Ravidas Ji. Seminars are being held in educational institutions to familiarise students with Guru Ji’s life, philosophy and teachings, while Kirtan Darbars and documentary screenings are also being organised at different places.
Bhagat also informed that a Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Bani Adhyayan Kendra is being constructed over 10.4 acres near Dera Sachkhand Ballan at Naugaza Faridpura at a cost of ₹37 crore.
During the seminar, Sant Mahapurushs and scholars highlighted Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality, dignity of labour, brotherhood and social harmony. An essay writing and poster-making competition was also organised on the life and teachings of Guru Ravidas Ji, and the winning students were honoured on the occasion.
University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Manoj Kumar, Registrar S.K. Arora, SDM Shayari Malhotra, Punjabi folk singer Dalwinder Dyalpuri, faculty members and students were also present.
