ਜਲੰਧਰ — ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਰੈਪਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕ ਯੋ ਯੋ ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਿਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਗੀਤ ‘ਨਾਗਿਨ’ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਫ਼.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਗੂ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੀਤ ‘ਨਾਗਿਨ’ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੇ ਗਏ ਕੁਝ ਸ਼ਬਦ, ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੁਤੀ ਸਮਾਜਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਰਿਆਦਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੀਤ ਅਸ਼ਲੀਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਛਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਗਲਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਗੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਉਲੇਖ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਗਏ ਨਾਚ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਜ਼ੁਅਲ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸਹਿਣਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਦੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਹਦ ਅਸ਼ਲੀਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਹਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੁਝ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਗੀਤਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜਤਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Jalandhar — Popular Punjabi rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has landed in controversy once again following the release of his latest song ‘Naagin.’ The Jalandhar police have registered an FIR against the artist after receiving a complaint alleging that the song contains offensive and inappropriate content. The development has sparked widespread debate within Punjab’s entertainment and cultural circles.
The complaint was filed by Arvind Sharma, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Punjab. In his complaint, Sharma alleged that the lyrics, visuals, and overall presentation of the song violate social and cultural norms.
