गुरदासपुर: गुरदासपुर के मेरिटोरियस स्कूल में पढ़ने वाले कुछ छात्रों की तबीयत अचानक बिगड़ गई। जानकारी के अनुसार, 8 से 10 छात्रों को बीमार हालत में सिविल अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उनका इलाज चल रहा है।
डॉक्टरों के मुताबिक, छात्रों ने डिनर करने के बाद घबराहट और पेट दर्द की शिकायत की। प्रारंभिक तौर पर मामला संदिग्ध फूड पॉइज़निंग का लग रहा है, हालांकि इसकी पुष्टि जांच के बाद ही की जा सकेगी।
वहीं, छात्रों के परिजनों ने स्कूल प्रबंधन पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाया है। उनका कहना है कि स्कूल में परोसा जाने वाला भोजन गुणवत्ताहीन है और इसको लेकर पहले भी शिकायतें की जा चुकी हैं। छात्रों के अनुसार, रात करीब 8:30 बजे बच्चों की तबीयत बिगड़ी, जिसके बाद उन्हें तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाया गया।
दूसरी ओर, स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल ने आरोपों को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि छात्रों को स्वच्छ और गुणवत्तापूर्ण भोजन दिया जाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि घटना के समय वे मेडिकल लीव पर थे, लेकिन सूचना मिलते ही अस्पताल पहुंच गए। फिलहाल सभी छात्रों का इलाज जारी है और प्रशासन पूरे मामले की जांच कर रहा है।

8–10 Students Fall Ill After Eating Food at Gurdaspur School, Food Poisoning Suspected
Gurdaspur: The health of several students studying at the Meritorious School in Gurdaspur deteriorated suddenly after dinner. According to information, around 8 to 10 students were admitted to the Civil Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Doctors stated that the students complained of anxiety and stomach pain after consuming dinner. Initially, the case appears to be suspected food poisoning, though confirmation will only be possible after a detailed investigation.
Meanwhile, parents have accused the school management of negligence, alleging that the quality of food served at the school is poor and that complaints had been raised earlier as well. Students reported that around 8:30 PM, several children fell ill and were immediately rushed to the hospital.
On the other hand, the school principal denied the allegations, stating that clean and quality food is provided to students. He said he was on medical leave at the time of the incident but reached the hospital as soon as he was informed. All students remain under treatment, and the administration has launched an investigation into the matter.
