जालंधर: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 1 फरवरी को पंजाब के दौरे पर जालंधर पहुंचेंगे। अपने दौरे के दौरान वे जालंधर स्थित डेरा सचखंड बल्लां में मत्था टेकेंगे। प्रधानमंत्री के आगमन को लेकर क्षेत्र में खासा उत्साह देखा जा रहा है।
इसी अवसर पर केंद्र सरकार की ओर से डेरा सचखंड बल्लां के प्रमुख संत निरंजन दास को समाज सेवा और आध्यात्मिक क्षेत्र में उनके महत्वपूर्ण योगदान के लिए पद्म श्री पुरस्कार देने की घोषणा की गई है। इस सम्मान की घोषणा के बाद संगतों और अनुयायियों में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई है।
प्रधानमंत्री के दौरे को देखते हुए जिला प्रशासन और सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने तैयारियां तेज कर दी हैं। सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को चाक-चौबंद किया जा रहा है और कार्यक्रम स्थल के आसपास विशेष इंतजाम किए जा रहे हैं।
