प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और मलेशिया के प्रधानमंत्री अनवर इब्राहिम के बीच आज सेरी पर्डाना में एक अहम और सकारात्मक बैठक हुई। इस दौरान दोनों नेताओं ने भारत और मलेशिया के द्विपक्षीय संबंधों को और मजबूत करने पर विस्तार से चर्चा की।
बैठक के दौरान प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि भारत और मलेशिया समुद्री पड़ोसी हैं और दोनों देशों के बीच लंबे समय से मजबूत, भरोसेमंद और मैत्रीपूर्ण संबंध रहे हैं। उन्होंने दोनों देशों के साझा मूल्यों और ऐतिहासिक जुड़ाव पर भी जोर दिया।
दोनों प्रधानमंत्रियों ने व्यापार, बुनियादी ढांचा, ऊर्जा, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, जैव प्रौद्योगिकी और अन्य विकासात्मक क्षेत्रों में चल रहे सहयोग की समीक्षा की और इसे आगे बढ़ाने पर सहमति जताई।
इसके अलावा, सुरक्षा और रक्षा सहयोग को मजबूत करने के साथ-साथ आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI), डिजिटल तकनीक और सेमीकंडक्टर जैसे भविष्य के महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्रों में साझेदारी बढ़ाने पर भी सहमति बनी।
यह बैठक भारत–मलेशिया रणनीतिक साझेदारी को नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम मानी जा रही है।

PM Modi Holds Key Meeting with Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim, Focus on Strategic Cooperation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an important and productive meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today at Seri Perdana. During the meeting, both leaders discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between India and Malaysia.
Prime Minister Modi stated that India and Malaysia are maritime neighbors and have shared strong, friendly, and long-standing relations over the years. He emphasized the deep historical ties and shared values between the two nations.
The leaders reviewed cooperation in key developmental sectors including trade, infrastructure, energy, information technology, biotechnology, and other areas, and agreed to enhance collaboration further.
They also reached a consensus on expanding cooperation in future-oriented sectors such as security, defense, artificial intelligence (AI), digital technology, and semiconductors.
The meeting is considered a significant step toward taking the India–Malaysia strategic partnership to new heights.
