जिला जनसंपर्क कार्यालय, लुधियाना — Language Department Punjab द्वारा निदेशक Jaswant Singh Zafar के नेतृत्व में स्थानीय Guru Nanak Engineering College के सभागार में प्रसिद्ध नाटक ‘टिकटां दो लै लैण’ का सफल मंचन किया गया।
यह नाटक डॉ. हरभजन सिंह ढिल्लों द्वारा लिखित और नरेंद्र सांघी के निर्देशन में प्रस्तुत किया गया। नाटक में प्रवास, नशे और पीढ़ियों के बीच बढ़ती दूरी के कारण परिवारों में उत्पन्न हो रहे संकट को प्रभावशाली ढंग से दर्शाया गया।
कार्यक्रम में कॉलेज के निदेशक डॉ. इकबाल सिंह, प्रिंसिपल डॉ. सहजपाल सिंह, संयुक्त आयुक्त जसदेव सिंह सेखों, पंजाब कला परिषद के चेयरमैन स्वर्णजीत स्वी, जिला भाषा अधिकारी डॉ. संदीप शर्मा सहित अनेक गणमान्य व्यक्ति और बड़ी संख्या में दर्शक उपस्थित रहे।
निदेशक जसवंत सिंह जफर ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि किसी भी भाषा का स्तर उसके नाटकों से आंका जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह नाटक पंजाबी भाषा और रंगमंच को नई ऊंचाई देने में सक्षम है। नाटक का मूल संदेश यह है कि यदि हम अपने देश और परिवार की देखभाल नहीं करेंगे तो हमें दर-दर की ठोकरें खानी पड़ेंगी। आज के दौर में ऐसे नाटकों की आवश्यकता है।
नाटक की मुख्य कथा घर और विदेश में रह रही पीढ़ियों के बीच बढ़ती दूरी, माता-पिता की उपेक्षा, संपत्ति के लालच, बच्चों के आकर्षण और समय के बदलाव के कारण परिवारों में बढ़ते तनाव पर आधारित थी। प्रमुख भूमिकाएं प्रसिद्ध फिल्म अभिनेता हरदीप गिल और अनीता देवगन ने निभाईं। पंजाब में रहने वाले बेटे की भूमिका भारत वारयाल और उनकी पत्नी की भूमिका हरमीत कौर सांघी ने निभाई। गुरदित सिंह और गुरप्रीत सिंह ने भी अपने अभिनय से दर्शकों का दिल जीता।
मल्टीमीडिया के माध्यम से देश और विदेश के पात्रों को प्रस्तुत किया गया, जिससे नाटक को एक नई तकनीकी विशेषता मिली। संगीत और संवादों ने नाटक को और प्रभावशाली बनाया। अंत में सभी कलाकारों को विभाग द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया।

Language Department Punjab Successfully Stages ‘Tickets Do Le Lain’, Highlights Drug Crisis and Generational Gap
District Public Relations Office, Ludhiana — The Language Department Punjab, under the leadership of Director Jaswant Singh Zafar, successfully staged the play ‘Tickets Do Le Lain’ at the auditorium of Guru Nanak Engineering College, Ludhiana.
Written by Dr. Harbhajan Singh Dhillon and directed by Narendra Sanghi, the play effectively portrayed the crisis arising in families due to migration, drug abuse, and widening generational gaps.
Several dignitaries including college officials, cultural representatives, and a large audience attended the event. In his address, Director Jaswant Singh Zafar stated that the standard of any language can be assessed through its theatre. He remarked that the play has the potential to elevate Punjabi language and theatre to a new level. The core message of the play emphasized that neglecting one’s country and family can lead to severe consequences, making such dramas highly relevant in today’s era.
The storyline revolved around the growing distance between generations living in India and abroad, parental neglect, property greed, children’s aspirations, and changing social values, which together create tension within families.
Prominent film actors Hardeep Gill and Anita Devgan played key roles, winning appreciation from the audience. Bharat Waryal and Harmeet Kaur Sanghi also delivered impactful performances. The use of multimedia to depict characters living in India and abroad added uniqueness to the presentation. Musical elements and cohesive acting further enhanced the success of the play.
At the conclusion of the event, all artists were honored by the department for their commendable performances.
