पंजाब के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री Dr. Balbir Singh ने आज पटियाला हेरिटेज फेस्टिवल के उद्घाटन समारोह में भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर खालसा कॉलेज पटियाला में मिलिट्री लिटरेचर फेस्टिवल का भी शुभारंभ किया गया, जहां बड़ी संख्या में युवा, छात्र और शहीदों के परिवार मौजूद रहे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान मंत्री ने युवाओं और शहीद परिवारों से मुलाकात की तथा उन्हें पंजाब सरकार के ‘वॉर ऑन ड्रग्स’ अभियान को सफल बनाने में सक्रिय योगदान देने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि नशा मुक्त पंजाब के निर्माण के लिए समाज के हर वर्ग का सहयोग आवश्यक है।
फेस्टिवल में प्रदर्शित टैंक, तोपें और अन्य सैन्य उपकरण युवाओं के लिए विशेष आकर्षण का केंद्र रहे। बड़ी संख्या में छात्रों ने सैन्य साहित्य और देशभक्ति से जुड़े विषयों में रुचि दिखाई।
मंत्री ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि देश की सुरक्षा और स्वतंत्रता के लिए पंजाब और पंजाबियों का सबसे बड़ा योगदान रहा है। उन्होंने शहीदों के परिवारों के बलिदान को नमन करते हुए कहा कि राज्य सरकार युवाओं को सही दिशा देने और समाज को सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।

Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh Inaugurates Patiala Heritage Festival, Urges Youth to Support War on Drugs
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh attended the inauguration of the Patiala Heritage Festival today. The Military Literature Festival was also inaugurated at Khalsa College, Patiala, where a large number of students, youth, and families of martyrs were present.
During the event, the Minister interacted with young students and families of martyrs and invited them to actively contribute to the Mann Government’s “War on Drugs” campaign. He emphasized that the collective support of society is essential to build a drug-free Punjab.
Tanks, cannons, and other military equipment displayed at the festival remained the center of attraction for young visitors. Students showed keen interest in military literature and themes related to patriotism.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister stated that Punjab and Punjabis have made the greatest contribution to the security and independence of the country. He paid tribute to the sacrifices of martyrs and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to guiding youth in the right direction and ensuring a safer society.
