Chandigarh के सेक्टर-5/8 मोड़ के पास तेज रफ्तार कार ने ई-रिक्शा और साइकिल सवार को टक्कर मार दी, जिससे दो महिलाओं की इलाज के दौरान मौत हो गई, जबकि चार अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए।
पुलिस के अनुसार 28 वर्षीय युवक नशे की हालत में कार चला रहा था और वाहन से नियंत्रण खो बैठा। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि आसपास अफरा-तफरी मच गई।
घायलों को तुरंत Government Multi Specialty Hospital Sector 16 ले जाया गया, जहां से एक महिला की गंभीर हालत को देखते हुए Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) रेफर किया गया, लेकिन दोनों महिलाओं की जान नहीं बचाई जा सकी।
पुलिस ने आरोपी चालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया है और आगे की जांच जारी है। अधिकारियों ने नागरिकों से ट्रैफिक नियमों का पालन करने और नशे में वाहन न चलाने की अपील की है।

A horrific accident occurred near the Sector 5/8 turn in Chandigarh where a speeding car rammed into an e-rickshaw and a cyclist, resulting in the death of two women during treatment and leaving four others seriously injured.
According to police, a 28-year-old man was allegedly driving under the influence of intoxicants and lost control of the vehicle. The impact caused chaos at the scene.
The injured were rushed to Government Multi Specialty Hospital Sector 16, and one critically injured woman was later referred to Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI). However, both women succumbed to their injuries.
Police have registered a case against the accused driver and further investigation is underway. Authorities have urged citizens to strictly follow traffic rules and avoid driving under the influence.
