‘ਵਾਰ ਆਨ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਜ਼’ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਖੰਨਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਚੇਨ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸੇਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਪਿਉ-ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੁਪਰਿੰਟੈਂਡੈਂਟ ਆਫ ਪੁਲਿਸ (ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ.ਪੀ.) ਖੰਨਾ ਡਾ. ਦਰਪਣ ਅਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਕ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਇਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। 16.01.2026 ਨੂੰ ਜਗਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਜੋਗੀ, ਵਸਨੀਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇਹਰੂ, ਥਾਣਾ ਸਦਰ ਖੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਨੰਬਰ 11/26 ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਹਿ-ਅਭਿਯੁਕਤ ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਵੀਰ, ਵਸਨੀਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇਹਰੂ, ਨੂੰ 6 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਰਣਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਚਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਗਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਜੋਗੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ 47,500 ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ, ਇੱਕ ਨਕਲੀ ਲਾਇਸੰਸੀ ਪੰਪ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ 12 ਬੋਰ ਰਾਈਫਲ, ਨਕਲੀ ਗੋਲਾਬਾਰੂਦ ਲਾਇਸੰਸ, 8 ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਅਤੇ 4 ਖਾਲੀ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਅੱਗੇ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਗੂਰੀ, ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਵ. ਹਰਬੰਸ ਸਿੰਘ, ਵਸਨੀਕ ਹਰਬੰਸਪੁਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੋ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਗੂਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਕੋਲੋਂ 5.50 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਬਾਕੀ ਦੋ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

Khanna Police Crack Heroin Supply Chain Under ‘War on Gangsters’; Father-Son Duo Arrested
Continuing its action under the ongoing “War on Gangsters” campaign, Khanna Police have busted a heroin supply chain and arrested a father-son duo involved in drug consumption and trafficking.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khanna, Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia, stated that under the special drive against gangsters and anti-social elements, a major breakthrough has been achieved. On 16.01.2026, Jagpal Singh alias Jogi, a resident of village Dehru under Police Station Sadar Khanna, was arrested in case number 11/26. Earlier, co-accused Randeep Singh and Ashvir, residents of village Dehru, had been arrested with 6 grams of heroin.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Randeep Singh was carrying out illegal drug activities from his residence. During a raid, police recovered ₹47,500 of drug money from Jagpal Singh alias Jogi, along with a fake licensed pump-action 12 bore rifle, a fake ammunition license, 8 live cartridges, and 4 empty cartridges.
Further interrogation revealed that the accused, along with his associate Gurjit Singh alias Guri, son of Late Harbans Singh and a resident of Harbanspura, and two other accomplices, were involved in supplying drugs. Gurjit Singh alias Guri has also been arrested, and 5.50 grams of heroin were recovered from his possession. Police teams have been formed to arrest the remaining two accused, who will be apprehended soon.
