ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਵਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਖੰਨਾ ਡਾ. ਦਰਪਣ ਅਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਜੜੋਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਡਾ. ਦਰਪਣ ਅਹਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਅਪਰਾਧਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਡਰ ਦੇ ਐਂਟੀ-ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਹੈਲਪਲਾਈਨ ਨੰਬਰ 93946-93946 ‘ਤੇ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਕੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ‘ਤੇ 10 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਨਾ ਝਿਝਕ ਅੱਗੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਇਹ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸਿਰਫ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਅਪਰਾਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਤੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਵਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਜੜੋਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਡਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਨ-ਚੈਨ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ। ਖ਼ਾਸ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਰਾਧਕ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਗਲਤ ਰਸਤੇ ‘ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਰਾਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ।
ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਖੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਡਰ ਦੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ-ਮੁਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕੀਮਤ ‘ਤੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

Punjab Police Launches Major Anti-Gangster Campaign; SSP Khanna Urges Public Support
Punjab Police has launched a large-scale campaign to make the state free from crime and gangsterism. SSP Khanna, Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia, informed the public that Punjab Police is fully committed to eradicating organized crime and gangster networks from the region, and public cooperation is crucial to achieving this goal.
Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia stated that anyone having credible information related to gangsters, their associates, or any kind of criminal activity can share it without fear on the Anti-Gangster Helpline number 93946-93946. He emphasized that the identity of the informant will be kept completely confidential and their safety will be ensured.
A reward of up to ₹10 lakh has been announced for providing credible and concrete information leading to the arrest of gangsters, encouraging citizens to come forward and contribute to the fight against crime.
He further said that this campaign against gangsters and criminals is not just the responsibility of the police but of society as a whole. In recent years, Punjab Police has arrested several dangerous criminals, dismantled their networks, and seized illegal weapons during major operations. However, public information and support remain vital to uproot gangsterism completely.
The main objective of the campaign is to eliminate fear from society and maintain peace and harmony. Special emphasis is being placed on creating social awareness to keep youth away from criminal elements and guide those who may have taken the wrong path.
SSP Khanna appealed to all citizens to raise their voice against crime without fear and join hands with the police to make Punjab a safe and peaceful state. He assured that Punjab Police will act promptly on every piece of information and that criminals will not be spared under any circumstances.
