Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ Amritsar ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ “ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ” ਅਤੇ “ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਾਰ” ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ 10 ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ 5 ਕਿਲੋ 438 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ, 3 ਪਿਸਤੌਲ, ਇੱਕ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਕਦ ਰਕਮ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗਿਰੋਹ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਵਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ। ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਲਈ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ’ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ।

Major Crackdown by Amritsar Police: 10 Accused Arrested with Over 5 Kg Heroin
Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, informed that the Amritsar Commissionerate Police has achieved a major success under the campaigns “War Against Drugs” and “Action Against Gangsters.” The police have arrested 10 accused individuals. During the operation, 5 kg 438 grams of heroin, 3 pistols, one motorcycle, and cash were recovered from their possession. Preliminary investigation revealed that the gang was actively involved in cross-border drug smuggling and was promoting crime and drug abuse in the region. According to police officials, this action is a strong step in the ongoing campaign against drugs. Interrogation of the arrested accused is underway, and efforts are being made to trace other members linked to this network. The Amritsar Commissionerate has delivered a clear message that there is no place for drugs and crime on the soil of Amritsar.
