मोगा के धर्मकोट के गांव लोहगढ़ में आपसी रंजिश के चलते एक युवक को गोली मारकर घायल कर दिया गया। गोली सुखविंदर सिंह की दाहिनी जांघ में लगी, जिसके बाद उसे इलाज के लिए कोट ईसे खां के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया।
पीड़ित के बयानों के आधार पर धर्मकोट पुलिस ने अर्जन सिंह समेत सात लोगों के खिलाफ एफआईआर नंबर 177 के तहत आर्म्स एक्ट और भारतीय न्याय संहिता (BNS) की विभिन्न धाराओं में मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। पुलिस के अनुसार, घटना से पहले दोनों पक्षों के बीच मारपीट हुई थी। बाद में बातचीत के बहाने युवक को मोटर (ट्यूबवेल) पर बुलाकर उस पर फायरिंग की गई। आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी के लिए पुलिस लगातार छापेमारी कर रही है।

Personal enmity turns bloody in Dharmkot’s Lohgarh; youth shot after being lured to a motor shed; case registered against seven people.
Moga: A young man was shot and injured in Lohgarh village under Dharamkot following a dispute stemming from personal rivalry. The victim, Sukhwinder Singh, sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh and was admitted to a private hospital in Kot Ise Khan for treatment.
Based on the victim’s statement, Dharamkot Police have registered FIR No. 177 against Arjan Singh and six others under the Arms Act and various provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). According to the police, both parties had been involved in a physical altercation before the incident. Later, the victim was allegedly called to a tube-well on the pretext of holding talks, where he was shot. Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
