ਫਿਲੌਰ (ਜਲੰਧਰ), 17 ਅਗਸਤ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਅਨੁਸੂਚਿਤ ਜਾਤੀਆਂ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਜਸਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜ੍ਹੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਭਾਦੋਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਰਾਦ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮੰਦਿਰ, ਫਿਲੌਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲੀ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਗੂ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਲੌਹਟੀਆ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਦੋਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸੰਗਰਾਦ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਲੋਕਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਂਝੀਵਾਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਰਸਾਏ ਮਾਰਗ ’ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬੜੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਜੁਲ ਕੇ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਸਾਂਝ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਹਰ ਵਰਗ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਯਤਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਾ ਫਿਲੌਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੇ 650ਵੇਂ ਪਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਉਲੀਕੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਐਲ.ਈ.ਡੀ.ਵੈਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਲਸਫ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਲੋਹਟੀਆ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੇ 650ਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਸਾਲ ਭਰ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ ਤਹਿਤ 22 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸੰਧੂ, ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਤਾਰਾ ਚੰਦ ਜੱਖੂ, ਚਮਨ ਲਾਲ, ਦਲਬੀਰ ਚੰਦ, ਬਾਬਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਵੈਭਵ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।

Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Chairman Jasvir Singh Garhi Pays Obeisance at Sri Guru Ravidas Temple
Phillaur (Jalandhar), August 17: Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Chairman Jasvir Singh Garhi paid obeisance at Sri Guru Ravidas Temple in Phillaur on the sacred occasion of Sangrand of the month of Bhadon and prayed for the progress and prosperity of Punjab. AAP leader Harjot Kaur Lohatia was also present on the occasion.
After paying obeisance at the temple, Garhi said that he felt fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in the religious programme organised at Sri Guru Ravidas Temple on the auspicious occasion of Bhadon Sangrand.
He said that Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji gave the entire humanity the message of welfare, universal brotherhood and social harmony. He urged everyone to follow the path shown by Guru Ravidas Ji to help create an ideal society. He said it was a matter of great happiness that people from different sections of society come together to celebrate religious occasions, which is a strong symbol of communal harmony and brotherhood.
Garhi said that the Punjab Government is making continuous efforts for the welfare of every section of society, drawing inspiration from the teachings of the great Gurus, and these efforts would continue in the future. He also assured all possible support for the development of the Phillaur Assembly constituency.
He informed that the Punjab Government has planned various large-scale programmes to commemorate the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. Special LED vans are being used in villages to familiarise people with the life and philosophy of Guru Ji.
On the occasion, Harjot Kaur Lohatia said that as part of the year-long celebrations dedicated to the 650th Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, a Kirtan programme will be organised on August 22.
Among others, President Raj Kumar Sandhu, Secretary Tara Chand Jakhu, Chaman Lal, Dalbir Chand, Baba Sarup Singh, Vaibhav Sharma, Bharti and other office-bearers were also present.
