भारत ने फ़िनलैंड के राष्ट्रपति अलेक्ज़ेंडर स्टब का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया, जो इस वर्ष आयोजित रायसीना डायलॉग के मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में भारत पहुंचे हैं। इस दौरान भारत और फ़िनलैंड के बीच कई महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर विस्तृत चर्चा हुई।
बैठक के दौरान दोनों देशों ने व्यापार और वाणिज्य के क्षेत्र में सहयोग की संभावनाओं पर विचार किया। विशेष रूप से प्रस्तावित भारत-यूरोपीय संघ मुक्त व्यापार समझौते (India-EU Free Trade Agreement) के बाद व्यापार के अवसरों को और बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया गया।
इसके अलावा तकनीक, इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, रक्षा, अंतरिक्ष, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI), सेमीकंडक्टर और शिक्षा जैसे क्षेत्रों में साझेदारी को मजबूत करने पर भी चर्चा हुई। दोनों देशों ने विश्व स्तर पर भरोसेमंद तकनीक विकसित करने और मजबूत सप्लाई चेन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए साथ मिलकर काम करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया।
भारत और फ़िनलैंड के बीच Migration and Mobility Agreement को भी साझेदारी को नई गति देने वाला महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया गया, जिससे दोनों देशों के लोगों की आवाजाही और पेशेवर सहयोग को बढ़ावा मिलने की उम्मीद है।
इसके साथ ही दोनों देशों ने आर्कटिक और ध्रुवीय क्षेत्रों में शोध सहयोग को आगे बढ़ाने पर भी चर्चा की। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि यह साझेदारी विज्ञान, पर्यावरण और वैश्विक शोध के क्षेत्र में नई संभावनाएं खोल सकती है। विश्लेषकों के अनुसार, दोनों देशों के बीच बढ़ता सहयोग तकनीक, व्यापार और अनुसंधान के क्षेत्र में वैश्विक स्तर पर सकारात्मक प्रभाव डाल सकता है।

Finland President Alexander Stubb Welcomed at Raisina Dialogue, India–Finland Cooperation Discussed
New Delhi: India warmly welcomed Finnish President Alexander Stubb, who arrived as the Chief Guest at this year’s Raisina Dialogue. During the visit, both countries held detailed discussions on several key areas of cooperation.
India and Finland explored possibilities of strengthening collaboration in business and commerce, with a particular focus on expanding trade opportunities following the proposed India–EU Free Trade Agreement.
The leaders also discussed enhancing partnerships in sectors such as technology, infrastructure, defence, space, artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and education. Both sides emphasized the need to develop reliable technologies and ensure strong global supply chains through joint cooperation.
The Migration and Mobility Agreement between the two countries was described as an important step to boost bilateral relations, expected to encourage greater people-to-people movement and professional collaboration.
Additionally, discussions were held on expanding cooperation in Arctic and Polar research sectors. Experts believe this partnership could create new opportunities in science, environmental studies, and global research initiatives. Analysts say the growing partnership between India and Finland will strengthen bilateral ties and positively impact technology, trade, and research globally.
