आवास एवं शहरी विकास मंत्री Hardeep Singh Mundian और Sandeep Kumar, मुख्य प्रशासक Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (ग्लाडा) के निर्देशों पर नियामक शाखा ने मंगलवार को गांव आयली खुर्द, साउथ सिटी में एक अवैध इमारत को ध्वस्त कर दिया। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, नोटिस जारी किए जाने के बावजूद डेवलपर्स ने निर्माण कार्य बंद नहीं किया था। इसके बाद विशेष टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर सीलिंग और तोड़फोड़ की कार्रवाई की, जो बिना किसी विरोध के पूरी की गई। मुख्य प्रशासक ने आम जनता से अपील की कि बिना मंजूरी या नक्शा पास करवाए अवैध कॉलोनियों में निर्माण न करें, क्योंकि ऐसी कॉलोनियों में पानी, सीवरेज और बिजली जैसी बुनियादी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध नहीं करवाई जाएंगी। उन्होंने बताया कि स्वीकृत कॉलोनियों और उनके नक्शों की जानकारी ग्लाडा की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध है, जिसे संपत्ति खरीदने से पहले अवश्य जांच लेना चाहिए।

GLADA Demolishes Illegal Construction in South City
Acting on the directions of Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Chief Administrator Sandeep Kumar, the regulatory wing of the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) demolished an illegal building on Tuesday in Aayali Khurd, South City. According to officials, despite the issuance of notices, the developers failed to stop the unauthorized construction work. Subsequently, a special team reached the site and carried out sealing and demolition operations without any resistance. The Chief Administrator appealed to the public not to undertake construction in unauthorized colonies without approval or sanctioned maps, as basic amenities such as water supply, sewerage, and electricity connections will not be provided in such areas. He further advised prospective buyers to verify the list of approved and regularized colonies along with their sanctioned layouts available on GLADA’s official website before purchasing property.
