लुधियाना पुलिस और रेलवे सुरक्षा बल (RPF) की संयुक्त कार्रवाई में मोबाइल चोरी की वारदातों को अंजाम देने वाले आरोपी शिव कुमार उर्फ सिबू को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। पुलिस ने उसके कब्जे से 7 चोरी के मोबाइल फोन बरामद किए हैं।
प्रारंभिक जांच के अनुसार आरोपी रेलवे स्टेशन, रेलवे लाइनों और घंटाघर क्षेत्र में सक्रिय था। आरोपी के खिलाफ पहले से भी लूट, चोरी और शस्त्र अधिनियम के तहत कई मामले दर्ज हैं। पुलिस रिमांड के दौरान उससे पूछताछ कर रही है, जिससे अन्य वारदातों का खुलासा होने की संभावना है। पुलिस ने लोगों से यात्रा के दौरान अपने कीमती सामान की सुरक्षा को लेकर सतर्क रहने की अपील की है।

Mobile phone thief arrested for stealing phones at the railway station and along railway tracks; 7 stolen mobile phones recovered in a joint operation by the RPF and Ludhiana Police.
In a joint operation by Ludhiana Police and the Railway Protection Force (RPF), accused Shiv Kumar alias Sibu, who was involved in mobile phone theft incidents, has been arrested. Police recovered 7 stolen mobile phones from his possession.
According to the preliminary investigation, the accused was active around the railway station, railway tracks, and the Ghanta Ghar area. Several cases under robbery, theft, and the Arms Act had already been registered against him. Police are currently interrogating him during remand, and further disclosures related to other incidents are expected.
Police have appealed to the public to remain alert and take proper care of their valuables while travelling.
