पंजाब सरकार ने ‘पंजाब सरकार फूड प्रोग्राम (PGFP)’ के तहत राज्य के लगभग 40 लाख परिवारों को बड़ी राहत देने का ऐलान किया है। इस योजना के माध्यम से जरूरतमंद परिवारों को आवश्यक खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध करवाई जाएगी।
सरकार द्वारा जारी जानकारी के अनुसार, लाभार्थियों को प्रति माह राशन किट प्रदान की जाएगी, जिसमें 2 किलो मक्की का आटा, 2 किलो चावल, 1 किलो आयोडीन युक्त नमक, 200 ग्राम हल्दी पाउडर और 1 लीटर सरसों का तेल शामिल होगा।
मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार आम लोगों को महंगाई से राहत देने और खाद्य सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। यह योजना गरीब और जरूरतमंद परिवारों के जीवन स्तर को बेहतर बनाने में सहायक साबित होगी।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि योजना का लाभ पात्र परिवारों तक पारदर्शी तरीके से पहुंचाने के लिए विशेष व्यवस्था की गई है।

Punjab Government Announces Major Relief for 40 Lakh Families Under Food Program
The Punjab Government has announced significant relief for nearly 40 lakh families under the Punjab Government Food Program (PGFP). The scheme aims to provide essential food supplies to needy households across the state.
According to official information, beneficiaries will receive a monthly ration kit that includes 2 kg maize flour, 2 kg rice, 1 kg iodized salt, 200 grams turmeric powder, and 1 liter mustard oil.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that the state government is committed to ensuring food security and providing relief from rising prices. The initiative is expected to improve the living standards of economically weaker families.
Officials added that special arrangements have been made to ensure transparent distribution of the benefits to eligible families.
