पंजाब में सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर शुरू की गई रोड सेफ्टी फोर्स (SSF) को आज 2 वर्ष पूरे हो गए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान के नेतृत्व में शुरू की गई यह पहल अब पूरे देश के लिए एक मिसाल बन चुकी है।
इस पहल के सकारात्मक परिणाम अब साफ तौर पर नजर आ रहे हैं। आंकड़ों के अनुसार, सड़क हादसों में मौके पर होने वाली मौतों में करीब 50 प्रतिशत की कमी दर्ज की गई है। दुर्घटना की सूचना मिलते ही SSF की टीमें बिना समय गंवाए मौके पर पहुंचकर घायलों को तत्काल सहायता और इलाज उपलब्ध करा रही हैं।
रोड सेफ्टी फोर्स ने न केवल अनगिनत जिंदगियां बचाई हैं, बल्कि आपातकालीन परिस्थितियों में तेज, संवेदनशील और प्रभावी राहत प्रणाली के रूप में अपनी एक नई पहचान भी बनाई है।
