Punjab सरकार ने Ludhiana में चल रहे एक कथित ‘फर्जी स्कूल’ पर बड़ा एक्शन लेते हुए उसकी मान्यता रद्द कर दी है और आपराधिक मामला दर्ज करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। यह कार्रवाई स्कूल में प्रैक्टिकल परीक्षा जैसी बुनियादी सुविधाओं के अभाव और कथित रूप से फर्जी दस्तावेज जमा करने के आरोपों के बाद की गई।
शिक्षा मंत्री Harjot Singh Bains ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) ने डैशमेश पब्लिक सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, मेहदूदा, लुधियाना (स्कूल कोड 3100187) के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की है। बोर्ड ने स्कूल की मान्यता रद्द करने के साथ-साथ फर्जी दस्तावेज जमा करने के आरोप में आपराधिक शिकायत दर्ज करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है।
उन्होंने बताया कि स्कूल द्वारा पंजीकृत 12वीं कक्षा के 27 छात्रों के रोल नंबर भी रद्द कर दिए गए हैं। भौतिक जांच के दौरान स्कूल का कोई वास्तविक अस्तित्व सामने नहीं आया। भवन किराए का था और वहां नियमित कक्षाएं संचालित नहीं हो रही थीं।
मंत्री ने कहा कि चार अन्य स्कूल भी जांच के दायरे में हैं। सरकार ऐसे संस्थानों पर शिकंजा कसने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है जो शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता से समझौता करते हैं और परीक्षा प्रणाली को प्रभावित करते हैं।
Bhagwant Mann के नेतृत्व वाली पंजाब सरकार गुणवत्ता शिक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और विद्यार्थियों के भविष्य की रक्षा के लिए कटिबद्ध है। शिक्षा मंत्री ने स्पष्ट कहा कि ‘घोस्ट स्कूल’ चलाने वालों के खिलाफ कोई नरमी नहीं बरती जाएगी।
अभिभावकों और छात्रों को आश्वस्त करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि पात्र विद्यार्थियों के हितों की रक्षा की जाएगी और उन्हें अन्य मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूलों में समायोजित कर आवश्यक मार्गदर्शन दिया जाएगा। साथ ही जांच टीमों को अन्य संदिग्ध स्कूलों की जांच तेज कर जल्द रिपोर्ट सौंपने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।

Big Crackdown on ‘Ghost School’ in Ludhiana: Recognition Cancelled, Criminal Case to Be Filed
In a major crackdown, the Punjab Government has revoked the recognition of a fake school operating in Ludhiana and initiated proceedings to file a criminal complaint over submission of forged documents and lack of basic facilities for practical examinations.
Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains stated that the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has taken strict action against Dashmesh Public Senior Secondary School, Mehduda, Ludhiana (School Code 3100187). The board has not only withdrawn its recognition but also started the process of filing a criminal case against the management.
The roll numbers of all 27 students registered for the Class 12 examinations by the school have been cancelled. During physical verification, officials reportedly found no proper existence of the school. The building was rented and no regular classes were being conducted.
The Minister further revealed that four more schools are currently under scrutiny as the government tightens its grip on institutions compromising educational standards and examination integrity.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has reiterated its commitment to ensuring quality education and safeguarding students’ futures. The Education Minister assured that no leniency will be shown against those running ‘ghost schools.’
Parents and students have been assured that the interests of genuine students will be protected by facilitating their adjustment in recognized schools and providing proper guidance. Investigation teams have also been directed to expedite inquiries into other suspicious institutions and submit reports at the earliest.
