Bhagwant Mann ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਫੀਡਰ ਨਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਰੀਲਾਈਨਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੌਗਾਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਕੇਵਲ 35 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ₹180 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਸਹੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਫ਼ ਪਾਣੀ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਨਾਲ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਗਾ। ਖੇਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਾਣੀ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।

The project was completed within just 35 days at a cost of ₹180 crore. With this development, Fazilka and adjoining areas will now receive clean water efficiently. The government stated that the project will also benefit regions including Ludhiana and Patiala, significantly addressing the issue of water scarcity. The administration has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring water reaches agricultural fields through proper canal networks.
