Punjab Agricultural University (ਪੀਏਯੂ), ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਮੇਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਲੋਕ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਝਲਕ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ। ਮੇਲੇ ਦੇ ਮੰਚ ’ਤੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਵੈਸ਼ਭੂਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਜੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਭੰਗੜਾ, ਗਿੱਧਾ, ਝੂਮਰ, ਸਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਕਲੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਲੋਕ ਨੱਚਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਨਮੋਹਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਰੰਗ-ਬਿਰੰਗੇ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਢੋਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਥਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਰੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਇਆ। ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਰਾਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁੜਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ।

At the Swadeshi Fair organized at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana, a beautiful glimpse of Punjab’s rich folk culture was witnessed. Artists dressed in traditional attire presented captivating performances of folk dances such as Bhangra, Giddha, Jhumar, Sammi, and Kikli on the main stage. The vibrant costumes and rhythmic beats of the dhol created a truly festive Punjabi atmosphere. The audience highly appreciated the performances and felt a strong connection with their cultural heritage.
