ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ/ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ — ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਦੌਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਮੋਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਨੂੰ ₹260 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਰਕਮ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੀਬ 400 ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਆਟੋਮੋਟਿਵ ਸਪੇਅਰਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਫੌਰਜ ਕੰਪੋਨੇਟ ਮੈਨੂਫੈਕਚਰਿੰਗ ਖੇਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਸਫ਼ਾ ਜੋੜੇਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਤਹਿਤ Hero Motors Limited (HML) ਅਤੇ ਜਰਮਨੀ ਦੀ STP Group ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਲਈ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਹੀਰੋ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈਨੂਫੈਕਚਰਿੰਗ ਫੈਸਿਲਟੀ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਛੇਤੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਫੈਕਟਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਫੋਰਜਡ ਅਤੇ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਡ ਪਾਵਰਟ੍ਰੇਨ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਆਟੋਮੋਟਿਵ, ਹਵਾਈ ਜਹਾਜ਼, ਅਤੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਸੈਕਟਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਪਯੋਗੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੰਜੀਵ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਉਦਯੋਗਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੂਬਾ ਇੱਕ “ਪਹਿਲਾ ਚੋਣ” ਵਜੋਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ‘ਚ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਦਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਟੋਮੋਟਿਵ ਸਪੇਅਰਜ਼ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ‑ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਨਗੀਆਂ।
Chandigarh/Ludhiana — Punjab is set to receive a significant ₹260 crore investment, expected to generate around 400 jobs, giving a fresh boost to the state’s industrial and economic growth. The investment is focused on the automotive components and forging sector, marking a new milestone in Punjab’s industrial development.
Hero Motors Limited (HML) and German company STP Group have partnered to establish a manufacturing facility at the Hero Industrial Park in Ludhiana. The upcoming factory will produce forged and machined powertrain components, serving the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors, while creating substantial employment opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled workers in the region.
Punjab’s Industries and Commerce Minister Sanjeev Arora stated that the government is actively supporting industrial initiatives and working closely with investors to strengthen the business ecosystem. He emphasized that Punjab is being positioned as a “preferred destination” for investment, offering speed, support, and a conducive environment for new projects.
Officials highlighted that the investment will not only benefit the automotive sector but will also generate jobs for the youth in Ludhiana and surrounding areas. Such initiatives are expected to promote industrial diversification and stimulate economic development in both urban and rural areas of Punjab.
Industry experts note that projects of this scale demonstrate Punjab’s growing attractiveness for domestic and international investors, and are likely to encourage further investments across sectors.
