ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ — News18 BizNext Business Summit 2025 ਵਿੱਚ BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI), ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਚੈਪਟਰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਵਧਦੀ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੀਤੀ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ, ਉਦਯੋਗਪਤੀ, ਵਿਉਂਤਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਅੰਸ਼ ਵਜੋਂ BRICS CCI ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਦਿੱਪਕ ਸ਼ੁਕਲਾ, ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਚੈਂਬਰ ਦਾ ਲਕਸ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ, ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਧਰੋਹਰਕ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ, ਉੱਦਮੀ ਸੁਭਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਭੁਗੋਲਿਕ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਹ ਸੂਬਾ ਆਏ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰਯਾਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਯਾਤ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਮੀਟ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਸਟਾਰਟਅੱਪਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਥ ਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਰੁਝਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਣਾ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਦਿੱਪਕ ਸ਼ੁਕਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਯੁਵਕ‑ਯੁਵਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਥੇ ਹੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ, ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਸਹੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
BRICS CCI ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੀਣ‑ਮੁੱਢੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ — ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ, ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ — ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ।
ਸਮੀਟ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਥੇ ਨੀਤੀ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ, ਉਦਯੋਗ ਲੀਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਅਵਸਾਯੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਦਾਂ‑ਪ੍ਰਦਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਵੇਸ਼ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਰਾਹ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ। ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਸਭ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ‘ਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੱਧਤਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ।
Chandigarh — At the prestigious News18 BizNext Business Summit 2025, the BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI), Chandigarh Chapter highlighted Punjab’s industrial potential and emerging investment opportunities, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to discuss the state’s future growth roadmap. The summit served as a platform to elevate Punjab’s position on both national and global business fronts.
Deepak Shukla, President of the BRICS CCI Chandigarh Chapter, emphasized that the chamber aims to accelerate investment, support industrial growth, and nurture Punjab’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He pointed out that Punjab’s rich agricultural base, strategic location, and entrepreneurial spirit provide the foundation for the state to evolve into a hub for both exports and imports.
One of the central issues discussed at the summit was encouraging startups and curbing youth migration. Shukla highlighted the importance of providing mentorship, access to finance, and opportunities to retain Punjab’s talented youth within the state for business development.
BRICS CCI also reiterated its threefold vision for Punjab — increasing investment, creating growth opportunities, and promoting hard work among entrepreneurs.
