श्री आनंदपुर साहिब विधानसभा क्षेत्र में परिवहन बुनियादी ढांचे को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम उठाया गया है। क्षेत्र में पांच नए पुलों के निर्माण को प्रशासनिक मंजूरी दी गई है। इस विकास परियोजना की जानकारी कैबिनेट मंत्री हरजोत सिंह बैंस ने दी, जिन्होंने इसे क्षेत्रीय कनेक्टिविटी को मजबूती देने वाला महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया।
मंत्री ने बताया कि पुल निर्माण के प्रस्ताव को भाखड़ा ब्यास प्रबंधन बोर्ड (BBMB) से मंजूरी मिल गई है। परियोजना के पूरा होने के बाद, गांवों के बीच संपर्क बेहतर होगा और राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों तक पहुंच पहले से कहीं अधिक सुगम और तेज हो जाएगी, जिससे यात्रियों और परिवहन से जुड़े लोगों को लाभ मिलेगा।
इस परियोजना के तहत बरहामपुर और दारोली में नए, आधुनिक और मजबूत पुलों का निर्माण किया जाएगा, जो पुराने या कमजोर ढांचों की जगह लेंगे। इन पुलों से क्षेत्र में यातायात की बढ़ती आवाजाही को सुरक्षित और सुचारू रूप से संभालने में मदद मिलेगी।
गंगूवाल में बढ़ते ट्रैफिक को ध्यान में रखते हुए वहां ड्यूल ब्रिज सिस्टम विकसित किया जाएगा, जिससे यातायात प्रबंधन बेहतर होगा और जाम की समस्या कम होगी।
इसके अलावा, अटारी और भोवाल गांवों को राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग से सीधे जोड़ने के लिए दो अलग-अलग पुलों का निर्माण किया जाएगा, जिससे स्थानीय लोगों की आवाजाही आसान होगी और यात्रा का समय कम होगा।
स्थानीय निवासियों ने इस फैसले का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि नए पुलों से रोजमर्रा की यात्रा आसान होगी, समय की बचत होगी और क्षेत्रीय विकास को नई गति मिलेगी। प्रशासन ने आश्वासन दिया है कि निर्माण कार्य निर्धारित समय सीमा के भीतर पूरा किया जाएगा।

Harjot Bains Announces Approval for 5 Bridge Projects in Sri Anandpur Sahib

A major step has been taken towards strengthening transport infrastructure in the Sri Anandpur Sahib Vidhan Sabha area, as administrative approval has been granted for the construction of five new bridges in the region. The development was shared by Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains, who termed the project an important boost to regional connectivity.
The minister informed that the proposal for bridge construction has received approval from the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB). Once completed, these bridges will significantly improve connectivity between villages and ensure smoother and faster access to National Highways, benefiting commuters and transporters alike.
As part of the project, new modern and structurally strong bridges will be constructed in Berhampur and Daroli, replacing old or inadequate structures. These bridges are expected to enhance safety and support increasing vehicular movement in the area.
Keeping in view the rising traffic volume in Ganguwal, a dual-bridge system will be developed to manage traffic flow more efficiently and reduce congestion.
Additionally, two separate bridges will be constructed to connect Attari and Bhoval villages directly with the National Highway, improving accessibility and reducing travel time for local residents.
Local residents have welcomed the decision, stating that the new bridges will ease daily commuting, save time, and give a fresh impetus to regional development. The administration has assured that the construction work will be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
