भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने देश के कई राज्यों में भीषण शीतलहर को लेकर चेतावनी जारी की है। विभाग के अनुसार हिमाचल प्रदेश, पंजाब, हरियाणा, दिल्ली, राजस्थान सहित कुछ अन्य राज्यों में अगले तीन दिनों तक गंभीर ठंड पड़ने की संभावना है।
IMD का कहना है कि इन राज्यों में न्यूनतम तापमान में और गिरावट दर्ज की जा सकती है, जिससे जनजीवन बुरी तरह प्रभावित हो सकता है। घने कोहरे और ठंडी हवाओं के कारण सड़क व रेल यातायात पर भी असर पड़ने की आशंका है।
मौसम विभाग ने पंजाब, हरियाणा और दिल्ली के लिए रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है और लोगों को अनावश्यक यात्रा से बचने, गर्म कपड़े पहनने और बुजुर्गों व बच्चों का विशेष ध्यान रखने की सलाह दी है।
Severe Cold Wave Alert: IMD Issues Red Alert for Several States
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a severe cold wave alert for several parts of the country. According to IMD, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, and some other states are likely to experience extreme cold conditions for the next three days.
The department has warned of a further drop in minimum temperatures, which may significantly impact daily life. Dense fog and cold winds are also expected to affect road and rail traffic.
A Red Alert has been declared for Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi, with authorities advising people to avoid unnecessary travel, wear warm clothing, and take special care of children and the elderly.
