सड़क पर एम्बुलेंस, फायर ब्रिगेड और पुलिस जैसे आपातकालीन वाहनों को तुरंत रास्ता देना अनिवार्य है। मोटर वाहन अधिनियम 1988 की धारा 194E के तहत रास्ता नहीं देने पर 10,000 रुपये तक का जुर्माना लगाया जा सकता है। प्रशासन ने लोगों से सायरन सुनते ही वाहन साइड में लगाने की अपील की है।

Up to ₹10,000 Fine for Not Giving Way to Emergency Vehicles
It is mandatory to immediately give way on the road to emergency vehicles such as ambulances, fire brigades, and police vehicles. Under Section 194E of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, a fine of up to ₹10,000 can be imposed for failing to provide passage. The administration has appealed to the public to move their vehicles to the side as soon as they hear a siren.
