लुधियाना के मेन हंबड़ा रोड पर साल की पहली बारिश में ही भारी जलभराव देखने को मिला। सड़क पर पानी भर जाने के कारण वाहन चालकों और राहगीरों को काफी परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ा। जलभराव इतना अधिक था कि लोग अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर पानी से भरी सड़क से गुजरने को मजबूर हो गए।
बारिश के बाद सड़क पर पानी जमा होने से ट्रैफिक की रफ्तार धीमी हो गई और कई वाहन पानी में फंसे नजर आए। स्थानीय लोगों ने नगर निगम पर लापरवाही के आरोप लगाते हुए कहा कि नालों की समय पर सफाई न होने के कारण हर साल बरसात में यही हालात बनते हैं। लोगों ने प्रशासन से जल्द से जल्द समस्या का स्थायी समाधान करने की मांग की है।
